Our excitement is growing as we are in the works of launching WAG-Able, a non-profit company to grow the abilities and opportunities of young adults living with a disability. Paula and Tammy are the moms of two amazing teens, Megan and Hannah, who graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 2017 and are in a transition to adulthood. Megan and Hannah have Down Syndrome, which brings challenges as well as triumphs. The community of Lake Oswego is an amazing place, where families have thrived as a result of coming together largely due to the DSNO Down Syndrome Network of Oregon. The founders of DSNO Paula Schiedler and Renee' Kerr came together when their babies Megan and Eli were born as a result of wanting community, acceptance, support, and opportunities as their families navigated the world of disability.

As students transition out of the school system it is challenging to find meaningful work opportunities for those adults living with a disability. The bureau of labor statistics in 2016 reported only 17.9 % of adults with a disability are employed and 34% work only part time.

WAG-Able's vision to continue the support and create an inclusive environment for adults living with a disability thru out their lives and give our community the joy of embracing all individuals for who they are and what they are able to contribute to society. We all want to belong to something greater than ourselves, have social outlets, adventure, meaningful work, and be able to give back to our community in a way that grows our abilities and provides enrichment through out our lives. Thru WAG-Able young adults with disabilities will learn valuable work and life skills by creating, producing, and delivering yum-tastic, all natural dog treats, quality products, and WAG Swag that will keep dog's tail's WAG'n and their humans happy.

All profits and donations to WAG-Able will go directly to providing work training, life skills, and enrichment for young adults in our community living with a disability. If you would like to be a part of furthering the

WAG-Able mission and help create opportunities by donating funds, know your generosity will be greatly appreciated and make an impact on individuals with disabilities and our society as a whole!

Thank you for supporting us! Woof, woof!
